Money: Although we pay around £118 billion in membership to the EU which could be spent on other things, we have partnerships and trade deals with other countries which bring more than this amount to our country.
Law and Border Control: If we closed our borders to other countries and made it harder for people to live here, it would make England less crowded and there would be more jobs for English people. However, we wouldn't have the friendships with all the amazing people we do and we wouldn't have the rich cultural experiences that we have now. Also some people might be bad that come to this country but we need to give everyone a chance to prove themselves. Additionally, we already have some really mean people already in this country. It's not where you are from that makes you mean.
Security: We have relationships with America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to help us keep our country safe and so we don't need to be in the EU. However, the more good relationships we have with as many countries as possible means the safer we will be because we can all help each other. And even if we leave the EU we would probably still keep our connections.
Now I know that these arguments are at a very basic level. There is so much more to it than this. However, after much debate and the playing of devils advocate with them; I have to agree with the children in my class (and I promised I would use their votes for mine) so... I will be voting 'Stay In' on Thursday!
